SANDHILLS HOLIDAY PARK, WHITECLIFF BAY, BEMBRIDGE, ISLE OF WIGHT SITE INFORMATION The Caravan Park is an ideal place for a family holiday. In fact we have people returning to us with their families, who originally came to the Site when they were children themselves. It is a grassy Site, with the caravans well spaced out. Each of our caravans has a view of the sea. There is direct access to a private, very pleasant beach, where there are two beach shops, which sell beach goodies, food, drinks and ice creams. Amenities on the Site include a small launderette, a well stocked licensed shop. There is a small play area and some swings for the children. There is also a shower block should one be needed. For your added convenience, you are able to park your car at the side of the caravan thus saving the need to carry heavy cases. On your arrival at the Site you will need to collect an entry pass. Should you arrive when the office is closed, please ensure you pick up the pass from the site office, the following morning. If you enjoy walking, or just going for a stroll, there are many beautiful and scenic country walks both inland and around the coast. The Island is, in our view, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the country and should you like a quiet holiday, full of interesting places to visit, this must be the place to go. Trips can be booked at the Site Office, with the coach picking you up from the Site. The coach goes to most places of interest on the Island, such as Blackgang Chine, Osborne House, Carisbrook Castle, Robin Hill, The Needles and others. There is a Car Ferry which operates from Portsmouth to Fishbourne - Wightlink - Tel No 0990 827744; and a Ferry which runs from Southampton to East Cowes - Red Funnel Tel No 01703 334010. Early booking is advisable for peak season. We regret no pets are allowed on the Site.
